Updating the rmware
Updates to the ZM series monitor rmware may occasionally become available. The updates
will typically include improvements to existing functionality or new features, and will be
made available via the B&G website: www.bandg.com.
Checking current rmware version
On the Conguration page it is possible to see the name of the monitor, resolution (native),
OSD version, BIOS version, and the serial number.

Updates should be loaded via a compatible B&G device such as the Zeus, Zeus Touch or
Zeus

. Refer to the applicable product manual on how to upgrade a device over NMEA 2000.
Alternatively, return the device to a Navico dealer to arrange updating.
¼ Note: we recommend updating ZM monitor software via another device on your NMEA 2000
network.
¼ Note: we do not recommend updating more than two displays at the same time. Do not
update the display being used to monitor the update status. In the rare occurrence the
update fails, nothing will be visible on the screen.
